If you enjoy the work of Nils Petter Molvaer your gonna want to try this show out for size. Jon Hassell blends Minimalism, Electronics and World Music with Jazz to create a very ambient form of Jazz called Fourth World. I don't care what they call it, I love it! I got this show from BigO, I really recommend that site for MP3 downloads of all kinds.
What BigO Said About This Show:
American trumpet player and composer Jon Hassell is known for developing the musical concept known as “Fourth World,” which sees him unify ideas from minimalism, various world music sources, and his electronic manipulation of the trumpet. He has collaborated with artists such as Brian Eno, The Theatre of Eternal Music, Talking Heads, Farafina, Peter Gabriel, Ani DiFranco, and Ry Cooder.
Muy bien gracias.
