When I originally posted The PMG Companion Volume 1 (1976 – 1980) there were a lot of requests for Volume 2. I downloaded Volume 1 from the etre.org torrent tracker, Volume 2 disappeared before I could download it. It came back so I grabbed it.

The PMG Companion, Vol. II: 1981 – 1982 "The Travels Companion" is actually meant to be just that, a companion to the official Travels live album. With this 2 CD set along with the Travels LP you have a commercial quality recording of every song the second line-up of The Pat Metheny Group performed live in it's 2 years together.

This set like Volume 1 comes with a very comprehensive set of liner notes for each track. The artwork was put together with special care as well. if you loved Volume 1 you will love Volume 2. If you don't have Volume 1 yet I have it here. If you want more Pat Metheny shows you can find them on the site here.

  1. OMG, sooo stoked to see this! I got the first PMG Volume you had posted previously and love it. Thanks so much Rosebud & JD!

And, thank you very much for choosing to post in FileFactory. Easily my favorite data share service - never any jankiness or viruses, downloads quickly. I bought a subscription to it years ago for that reason and it's just great.

Thanks again and - welcome back after your one-time hiatus!!

    1. Thank you Taylor! It's great to be back and sharing the music! I hope you enjoy the Pat Metheny, it's a great collection. When I posted Volume ! I said Volume 2 had slipped off the torrent tracker and I would share it as soon as I could get someone to re-seed it. When I got another internet connection one of the first things I did was download a bootleg to test the speed. I downloaded Volume 2 that day, so here it is! I use Filefactory because of the reasons you stated and because I download a lot of DVD's from T.U.B.E. and a few other sites and it's much faster with a pro account. I figured I have it and pay for it so I'll use it for the site then I don't have to re-post a lot of files and could build an archive. Personally I hate the disappointment of dead links. OK so this comment is becoming Ben Hur so, Enjoy The Tunes Taylor!

  3. Seconding the joy at seeing this post - love Pat Metheny, and this blog seems to be one of the only places I find posts of his shows. This is a great collection.

    1. Hi Stewart, you're welcome for the Box set. I hope you're enjoying it. I love Pat's music and it's Jazz I can play that won't annoy Rosebud. I still have more Pat coming up. I have roughly 16 gig in lossless and about 2 gig in MP3. I was at the store with my parents when I was a lot younger. I was wandering through the record section and saw an album titled As Falls Wichita So Falls Wichita Falls. I thought, wow, genius so I bought it. Been a fan since.
