Antoine Dominique "Fats" Domino Jr passed away from natural causes October 24, 2017 at the age of 89.
I downloaded this recording earlier in the year from BigO. BigO is a great resource for bootlegs from artist of all genres in MP3 format. They have also re-posted this bootleg in tribute to Fats.
Wow I missed this news. I always liked Fats easy-going yet rollicking style.
ReplyDeleteFirst Chuck Berry, now Fats in one year.
Yet notorious partiers like Jerry Lee Lewis and Little Richard keep on truckin. Go figure
Fats was some of the first music I remember being exposed to as a kid, Fats Domino, Elvis, Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison & The Beatles were all played a lot by my Mom when I was growing up. A sad loss for sure.
