justdave's notes:
I ripped the waves with DVD Audio Extractor. I then used Goldwave to re-edit some track marks and raise the volume. The are some audio anomolies where it sounds like the original recorder edited out some commercials and/or voice overs. The recording is also very bass heavy. No EQ or noise reduction was used.
Another soundboard recording from Lemmy's final tour. The band is a little off on this recording, as if the stage monitors were not working well and they couldn't hear each other. Lemmy also sounds pretty tired, his vocals sound pretty strained, as we all know Lemmy was pretty sick during this tour.

Thanks for the post. That last tour was a bit difficult. The back stage vibe was odd & subdued. Caught a handful of the US shows. Kind of knew the end was near. But the farther on the tour they went, the better it got, sometimes.
ReplyDeleteI have a few recordings from the final tour. Some days were good, some days were a little rough. You could tell how sick he was getting by watching the DVDs. JD
