No other cuts or edits from master.  The original uploader's info says that The Talking Heads were the opening act for The B-52's, this however is incorrect, The B-52's opened for The Talking Heads. The B-52's have also released their set from this date as a digital download therefore their set will be deleted from the blog. This recording has great sound and should be in even the casual Talking Heads fan's collection.

  2. Yesterday I claimed that The B-52s opened for Talking Heads on 8-24-1979 without offering any proof that I knew what I was talking about. Here is a link from the official B-52s website that backs up my claim. Please don't post this comment, only the original, thanks. http://theb52s.com/live-8-24-1979/

  3. The information on the rear art work is incorrect. The B-52s opened for Talking Heads. Think about it, Talking Heads had 2 albums under their belt already and B-52s had *just* released their 1st album. It makes sense.

    1. Actually I want to thank you for the information, since I only went by the info included with this recording (I didn't make the recording or attend the show) but I was wondering about this statement ..."The information on the rear art work is incorrect. The B-52s opened for Talking Heads. Think about it, Talking Heads had 2 albums under their belt already and B-52s had *just* released their 1st album. It makes sense" ... but since there is no art work included in this download I don't understand, also it kind of looks as if you might be a little upset that your very helpful comment (I mean that it's not sarcasm hadn't been posted yet .. I'm really sorry for that but I work 60 plus hours a week and have a family so it some times takes me a day or two before I can get to this website were I offer lots of free bootleg music for anyone who wants to download it. So I hope this helps you understand I was not ignoring your helpful information (and I mean that it's not sarcasm) , but actually really and truly am grateful for it so we can all have the correct info with the music we all love. Thank you my friend and I hope you enjoy the music. By the way you also helped me out because the link you posted was to a digital release of The B52's set from this show, which was posted on this blog but will be removed due to it being commercially available. A big thank you for that one! As we do not want to rip off the artists. Thanks!
