Henning2804 asked for any Pat Metheny Group shows from the 1980's, so here is one of my latest acquisitions. This audio comes from a bootleg DVD which I just received. The source video has some generations to it so the audio shows a little age but is very listenable and enjoyable. I ripped the audio with DVD Audio Extractor v5.4.4 and used Goldwave v5.04 to even out some volume drop outs. No remixing of the audio was done. Hope you enjoy this one Henning2804!
Oh nice! Thanks for sharing this
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome M.D. Milner!

I definitely enjoy it. Missing in the collection, so very very much appreciated...:-)
ReplyDeleteMost grateful, yessir - puzzles me though that it seems to be mono?
ReplyDeleteIt comes from a 1982 TV broadcast, TV was mostly broadcast in mono then. This weekend I will be posting a Gary Burton Quintet show with Pat Metheny that should make up for the mono soundboard...

ahh - dem 'appy TV days in glorious mono :-). If we could listen to music in mono THEN, we can now as well. The music is just as good.
ReplyDeleteI hear you brother...but must say sure would be nice to hear this set in stereo, but like you said the music is just as good, I just downloaded a few more soundboards from Pat that I have to check the quality of first, so more Pat Metheny coming real soon for ya!
