Perfect end to our Women Who Rock posts, Blondie on their Plastic Letters Tour. A great recording and performance which includes Blondie's covers of The Doors' "Moonlight Drive", The Runaways' "Playing With Fire" and The Yardbirds' "Heart Full Of Soul".

The flac set is a little large so I have uploaded CD1 & CD2 as separate zip files. Each may be opened on their own.

  1. I remember being at work (in the kitchen of a restaurant in Alameda) and listening to Deborah Harry (and at least one other member of Blondie) being interviewed the on KSAN the afternoon before this show.

  3. Excellent re-up. Superb sound, probably the best of the early-era Blondie recordings. And killer segue in the second show of the Heart of Soul and Playing With Fire covers.
