justdave notes:
When I received this it was in 5 segments. The original uploader removed the commercials and a couple of the voice overs but didn't index the songs. I decoded the files using Traders Little Helper and used Goldwave v5.04 to index the tracks. I then re-encoded the tracks to Flac level 8 using Traders Little Helper, aligning all sector boundaries. The announcer says that this is a composite recording from two separate shows one recorded early in the War Tour, the other later in the same tour. The original uploader thinks that the recording came from The Orpheum Theatre, Boston, MA 1982.

  1. Thanks Dave. Great sounding show. I tried doing some research to find out more about the details of the recording and info is very slim. Found a site that had info on every King Biscuit show and even at that site there were no details of the venue and date that the performance/s originated.

  2. You're welcome Iowatullfan, info is pretty slim on this one for sure. The common thought however seems to gravitate towards this at least partially being from The Orpheum Theatre, Boston, 1982. At any rate we get a great sounding War Era Pre-FM gig to listen to.

    Dave
