Rosebud and I lost someone very dear to us yesterday. Dawnie was a major Stevie Ray Vaughan fan. She could sit and listen to him for hours. 2 of her favorite songs were "Life Without You" & "Voodoo Chile (Slight Return)", both of which are played to the Nth Degree on this particular recording. So Rosebud and I felt that this would be a fitting tribute, to share one of her favorite shows from her collection with fellow fans. Enjoy and remember what Stevie says.."Take care of yourself so you can be there for the ones who love and need you.."

  1. Coincidentally, the 27th was also the 25th anniversary of SRV's tragic death. Living in Chicago, I remember following radio reports (no internet yet) of the accident and feeling completely numb. Thanks for this though and condolences on the loss of your friend...

  2. You're welcome Paul. With the loss of my friend I forgot about the anniversary of Stevie's passing. Kind of ironic to loose her then...my wife says that maybe she wanted to make it to Stevie Stock in Heaven. Hope you enjoy the recording as much as we do.

  3. Thanks Dave! I had a version of this I got in 2010, FLAC from "Original 1991 3 LP limited edition live vinyl", but 3 of the tracks were removed. Nice to finally have the whole show!
