This is a Hans Devente tape as edited by justdave.

justdave notes:
Hans uploads his tapes as 1 long file per tape side. The flac files are also in 24 bit encodings so they are fit for audio DVD's. I separated the tracks and also made a 16 bit option so that it could be burned to CD. This is a great sounding version of this famous Van Morrison radio show so if you already have a version you should check this one out it just may be an upgrade in sound for you.

  1. Thanks Dave. I am a casual fan of Van Morrison. Have several of his old records and have to say that this upload is terrific.Really enjoy all the songs on this and such an excellent sound.

  2. This is an improvement in audio compared to the version I own (sorry...I don't know the "label"). I have a couple of points to make, however. On the Hans Devente/JDP version, Track 3 should be "Into the Mystic," and track 17 should be "Caravan." My version omits "Joyous Sound," but it contains almost all of "Cypress Avenue" rather than the 2 minute fade out version here, so I burned a new CD with tracks 1-17 and added my version of "Cypress Avenue." To get it all onto one CD, I had to omit track 18 - no big deal. Apparently, the entire concert ran a little more than 90 minutes, so virtaully all taped versions in circulation have flaws like tape flips, omitted songs, etc. This concert was the late show from the Bottom Line. I do not think the early show was broadcasted. Thanks Dave for the upgrade.
