The Santana story comes full circle in Mountain View California, as Carlos calls in some old friends to celebrate 20 years of Santana music. Former members meld with the 1986 line-up to perform songs from the bands rich back catalog. If you are any kind of Santana fan I highly recommend this show for your collection. The final jam session that is CD3 is worth the download alone, yet CD's 1 & 2 are comprised of performances from the 1986 line-up that almost seems like a statement to the former members that this is Santana now. All most 3 hours of music, with a line-up that includes Buddy Miles, Michael Shrieve, Gregg Rolie, Neil Schon, Alexander J. Ligertwood, and Carlos Santana!

You're welcome Iowatullfan, and I agree an awesome show a definite must have!
ReplyDeleteDave
You have a very nice selection of Santana shows
ReplyDeleteThanks for the compliment. I still have quite a few more in storage. The way I decide what gets posted & when is really easy though. I get a good buzz going then look through my drives to find something to listen to. If I really enjoy it, it goes on the blog. If Rosebud says she liked it, same lol. Makes it easy and fun too.
