Before Meat Loaf recorded his breakout hit album Bat Out Of Hell, he temporarily worked with Ted Nugent. Dereck St Holmes had quit the group during the Free For All Sessions, he returned of course. During his absence Meat Loaf recorded vocals for 5 of the albums 9 tracks. He actually covers one of those on this recording, "Hammerdown" which is a bonus track not on the artwork. This recording from the Bat Out Of Hell Tour has really good sound. There is a couple pops in the middle of "River Deep Mountain High", but the show as a whole is rather enjoyable.

Thank you very much; He did an excellent job on the Free-For-All Album and Hammerdown is one of the best tracks with a breathtaking solo from Ted and a great rhythm section with Meat Loaf's great vocals.

ReplyDeleteI have that re-uploaded to a different server. Filefactory kept marking it as a virus but I have run scan after scan on the files and my anti-virus says there is no virus, so the files are clean. Sorry about the trouble you had downloading this one!
