Draftervoi's original notes:
This tape is from an all-day broadcast of a modern rock festival at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California.   As many bands were billed, the set lists were short, but that just makes the bands a bit more focused.

According to Wikipedia, the Knack reunited that year to capitalize on the "My Sharona" appearance on the soundtrack of the movie "Reality Bites."

The band was calling themselves Boingo at this time in their career. The name change only happened for the album "Boingo" and tour for that LP. In 1995 the band returned to the name Oingo Boingo before breaking up. Danny Elfman says there will not be any Oingo Boingo reunions due to his "irreversible hearing loss" and his fear that performing willl make it worse.
