I raised the volume of the audio but no remastering or remixing was done.

Spiritual Beggars play a style of Heavy Metal that is a direct nod to the Old School 1970's Hard Rock/Heavy Metal sound. Lead vocalist Apollo Papathanasio has a sound reminiscent of Tony Martin or Rainbow era Ronnie James Dio. Keyboardist Per Wilberg's performance brings to mind such 1970's Hammond Organ players as Uriah Heep's Ken Hensley or Deep Purple's Jon Lord, while Michael Amott's guitar paying owes a huge debt to Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath.

Draftervoi's Original Notes:
This same show was also broadcast earlier in February '84 by Westwood One as In Concert #84-03.  The cue sheet of #84-03 lists Track 31 as "Drums," while on the cue sheet for In Concert #84-14, it's listed as "Baby Hector's Lament." I can't find a song by that name in the Tubes' discography, but as it's on the cue sheet I'm listing is as "Baby Hector's Lament."

A portion of this show was broadcast on MTV, missing the tracks "Amnesia", "Mondo Bondage", "Don't Want To Wait Any More" and the "James Brown Medley," but with the inclusion of "White Punks On Dope" (not on the Westwood One broadcasts).  The "James Brown Medley" isn't listed on the cue sheet, but I've listed it here as part of the track "Tip Of My Tongue."

The first two Budweiser commercials are by A Flock of Seagulls and Joe Jackson, and presumably the third commercial is also by a "name" artist, but I don't recognize the singer or group. Joe Jackson really puts his heart into it, too.

Scans of the cue sheet and a disc label are included; flac files of wavs.

JustDave notes:
There is another version of this show that is sourced from a Westwood One Pre-FM LP set but does not give a show number. That version was uploaded by Glasshouse07 and includes the track "White Punks On Dope" taken from an MTV broadcast source. For the completist I will upload that version in a few days.

Another nice sounding show from Mudvayne this time on tour for the LD50 release. Mudvayne had a very visual image at this time including masks, face & body paint, and different uniforms. The band also used stage names that fit their Zeta Reticuli back story (the band was supposed to be from another planet). The image and stage names have evolved over time to the present day where they now use their own names and have dropped the makeup.

The band is well known for their complex riffs, and their unique playing style. Described as Math Metal the music itself contains "number symbolism", in which certain riffs are used that correspond with thematic elements of the song's lyrics. Bassist Ryan Martinie will go from Funk style slap/pop bass to Flamenco picking, finger tapping, strumming and plucking all in the context of one song. Vocalist Chad was picked by Vinnie Paul of Pantera/Damageplan fame to front his metal comeback band Hellyeah.

This is a classic bootleg and have to keep the classics alive. This was recorded by Motown and intended as a live album release but for some reason it was shelved by Stevie Wonder before it could be released. It's thought that Stevie considered the show to be sub-par for some reason and work discontinued on the project. You can judge for yourself if Stevie and Motown should get out the master tapes and give this one a legitimate release.
